Santi Eksiandayani, SST., M.Sc., started the discussion with material on “Basic Concepts of Statistical Methods”. She explained the concept of statistics, including inferential statistics, parametric and non-parametric data analysis, and types and sample populations. Next, Badara Shofi Dana, SE., M.Sc., delivered material on “Panel Data Analysis Theory”. She explained the definition of panel data with examples, the advantages and limitations of panel data, and outlined methods in panel data analysis and their applications in research. This webinar was interactive and ended with a very enthusiastic question and answer session from the participants, thus providing an opportunity for participants to test their understanding of the material presented. This activity is a useful statistical learning forum and is expected to increase statistical literacy, especially among students, academics and the wider community.
