FEBI UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung attended the Association of Lecturers Movement (ADP) event held in Kediri on May 15-17, 2025. On that occasion, the Dean of FEBI, Dr. Chusnul Chotimah, M.Ag, accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Qomarul Huda, M.HI, Vice Dean III, Dr. Muniri, M.Pd, Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Ahmad Supriyadi, M.Pd.I, and Head of Laboratory, Dr. Suminto, M.Pd.I, also attended and actively participated in the commemoration of the 4th Anniversary (Harlah) of the Association of Research Lecturers (ADP).

The event carries the theme “Intellectual Footprints of the Archipelago, Impactful and Excellence,” which is not only an important momentum for academics to gather and exchange knowledge, but also as a deep reflection on the intellectual heritage that has shaped Indonesian civilization and culture.

The theme “Intellectual Footprints of the Archipelago” has a very deep meaning, reflecting the richness and diversity of the intellectual heritage of the Indonesian archipelago. This concept highlights the importance of efforts to explore, protect, and develop local knowledge that has been passed down from generation to generation by various tribes, cultures, and traditions in the Archipelago. This intellectual heritage does not only include classical or traditional works, but also includes critical thinking, philosophy, and innovation that is born from the social and cultural context of Indonesia.

By carrying this theme, the commemoration of the 4th ADP Harlah invites academics to reflect on how this intellectual footprint can become a solid foundation in building relevant and contextual science, while strengthening national identity amidst the flow of modern scientific globalization. This is very important considering the global challenges that demand local uniqueness and wealth as the main capital in intellectual competition in the academic world. Through this activity, it is hoped that the spirit of collaboration and intellectual development among lecturers will increase, providing a positive impact on the progress of education and research in the country.

ADP UIN SATU, as one of the student and academic organizations that plays an active role in the world of higher education, is widely known for its commitment to developing intellectuality and encouraging academic excellence in the campus environment and the wider community. The presence of UIN SATU Movement lecturers at this event confirms the institution’s strategic position in establishing academic networks and strengthening its intellectual contribution at the national level.

ADP UIN SATU has so far been at the forefront in encouraging the development of science rooted in Islamic and national values, while prioritizing the quality of research and community service that has a real impact. Participation in the commemoration of the 4th ADP Anniversary is a real manifestation of this spirit, where lecturers are not only present as participants, but also as agents of change who bring new perspectives to scientific discussions. The theme of “Intellectual Footprints of the Archipelago” is very relevant to UIN SATU’s mission which seeks to explore and preserve local intellectual treasures as part of the nation’s identity, while “Impactful and Excellence” underlines the importance of quality and real impact of academic work produced. Through participation in this event, ADP UIN SATU strengthens its position as an association that is not only oriented towards teaching, but also active in developing meaningful and useful knowledge for the wider community.
