Enlivening the International Conference on Islamic Finance, Inclusive Economy and Sustainability (ICIFiMS), FEBI Students and Lecturers of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Win Best Paper

Yogyakarta – Students and lecturers of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung have once again made a proud achievement in an international academic event. In the International Conference on Islamic Finance, Inclusive Economy and Sustainability (ICIFiMS) held on 20–21 May 2025 at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, the FEBI UIN Tulungagung delegation won the Best Paper award, as a form of appreciation for their contribution of innovative thinking and research in the field of Islamic finance and sustainable development.

This conference is a scientific forum that brings together academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss the latest ideas related to Islamic finance, inclusive economy, and digital transformation. Attended by hundreds of participants from various institutions, ICIFiMS is a strategic space to strengthen academic networks and build cross-country research collaborations. The delegation from FEBI UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung consisted of lecturers and students from various levels of study programs, including Dedi Suselo, Dr. Rokhmat Subagiyo, Dr. Binti Nur Asiyah, Dr. Amalia Nuril Hidayati, Ahmad Syaichoni, Mega Tunjung Hapsari, Qomarul Huda, Nana Pangestu, Rama Wahyu Sampurno, Mashudi, Ferananda Wahyu Nurjanah, Mohammad Robet Abdillah, Muhammad Fathiyya Eleazar, Muhamad Aqim Adlan, Muhammad Asrori, Citra Mulya Sari, M. Aswad, Tegar, and Khoirunnisa Rosida Putri. They were present not only as participants, but also as speakers in the session that took place on the second day of the conference.

The series of activities began on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, when the delegation arrived at UIN Sunan Kalijaga and was welcomed by the academic ranks of FEBI. The initial meeting with the Head of the Islamic Financial Management Study Program, Dr. Darmawan, was an important moment in exploring the potential for academic cooperation between institutions. The conference was officially opened with a strong cultural and scientific atmosphere, marked by remarks from campus leaders and the screening of a reflective video on the theme of scientific transformation in the digital era. On the second day, presenters from UIN Tulungagung appeared actively in the scientific forum and presented research results relevant to strategic issues in Islamic economics and finance. One of the presenter teams from UIN Tulungagung won the Best Paper award, which marks recognition of the quality of their research and intellectual contribution to international academic discourse. This achievement emphasizes the commitment of FEBI UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung in developing a superior academic culture and expanding its active role in the global scientific arena based on inclusive, progressive, and sustainable Islamic values.
