Tulungagung, 8-10 September 2026 – The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung continues to strengthen its role in academic development and international academic networking through the organization of an International Conference as part of the SATU ICON series of events. The conference serves as an academic forum that brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to exchange ideas and discuss strategic issues in Islamic economics, business, and finance amid the rapidly evolving global landscape.

The International Conference is not merely a forum for presenting research findings; it also represents FEBI’s commitment to fostering an academic culture that is open to international developments in knowledge and scholarship. Global economic changes, technological advancements, digital transformation, the growing halal industry, and various development challenges require higher education institutions to broaden their perspectives and strengthen collaboration across institutions and national borders.

Through this forum, FEBI UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung provides participants with opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions on ideas, research findings, and various approaches to addressing contemporary economic and business challenges. The exchange of knowledge and perspectives is expected to extend beyond the conference itself and develop into sustainable academic networks that foster collaborative research, scholarly publications, innovative learning initiatives, and other forms of academic cooperation.

The international dimension of SATU ICON also plays an important role in encouraging students and the academic community of FEBI to develop a broader understanding of global economic and business developments. Interactions with academics and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds provide valuable opportunities to recognize that contemporary economic issues are increasingly complex and require collaborative and multidisciplinary approaches.

For FEBI, the International Conference also serves as an important momentum to strengthen its position as a higher education institution actively engaged in the advancement of Islamic economics and business scholarship. Academic forums of this kind provide a valuable platform for connecting knowledge developed within the university with international academic developments and practices.

Through SATU ICON, FEBI UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung reaffirms its commitment to developing a dynamic, open, and collaborative academic ecosystem. The International Conference is expected to serve as a platform for generating new ideas and fostering sustainable partnerships that contribute to the advancement of Islamic economics and business at both national and international levels.
